|
|
I have been trying to record a simple macro all day under Base 2.0 (windows XP). Each time I 'Stop Recording' nothing happens -- nothing to save, nothing recorded. Is the Macro Recorder not working under 2.0?
Thank you very much. _________________ Jack Gillis |

The macro recorder is not supported int Base Module ONLY. It works as expected (least I think it does.. ) in all the others
As far as I know there is no release number slated for support as of yet.

Officially, Base does NOT, but it may in the future. This is also why ThisComponent is NOT set for a Base document and you need to get the current component instead. _________________ --

FYI
I opened an issue on this point # 57004. What I used for an example was recording of typing characters into text controls.
The word at this moment is
[quote]
The Macro recorder can't record the things you want to record. When you create a
new record or save a record then the macro can be record and then a dialog to
save the macro appear also.
The macro record can only record very very simple things.
I set this issue to WORKSFORME now.
[quote]
Therefore the issue is closed.
If anyone else thinks it would be a good thing to support this then you might want to add your own comments to the issue itself.
