|
|
Hi all ,
I am seeking advice on behalf of my friend who is using OpenOffice 1.9.122
She tried to open an rtf document in Open Writer, however, she found all the footnotes there are gone!
Does anyone know how to solve this?
Please kindly help.
Thanks very much!

Which program did she use to save the rich text file?
If is save a document with footnotes from Open Office as RTF, then reopen it, the footnotes are still there. _________________ Fonts * Opera * Oo Tips * FAQ * New Forum

My friend saved the file in MS Word 2003. Would that be the problem? |

I just did a simple 2 pg doc in Word with a short one line footnote on each page and saved it as both a .doc and a RFT file. Both imported fine into OOo.
So the footnotes themselves should not be a problem. _________________ jrkrideau
