|
|
After upgrading from OO1.9 to OO2.0 I can't set the "default language for document". The options are just inactive (grayed), and there's a small padlock next to "Western" "Asian" and "CTL". When I click on the padlock, it says that "this setting is protected by the Administrator". However, when I try to run OO from the root account, the same thing happens.
I have language packages installed (like openoffice.org-langpack-fr for french), and they seem to work correctly, as I can switch e.g. the user interface. I'm running fedora core 4.
Can someone please help me ?? Thanks in advance!

I have exactly the same problem, except I would like English (UK) as the default language. Have you had any luck getting this sorted?
Perhaps it's a FC4 specific issue, no one else seems to have this problem?

The problem is not resolved, unfortunately. Currently I'm using mozilla's thunderbird's spell-checker |
