NOTE: What follows in this post only apply to posts in this forum (ie Code Snippets). It does not apply to any of the other forums on OOoForum.org

This forum was set up to address a particular need, to have a location where examples of OOo macro code could be posted and commented on. Therefore, please follow these guidelines:

1. New threads should be an example of how to do something in OOo. The subject line should make it clear what technique is being described, eg 'Send e-mail from OOo'
2. Replies can be used to discuss the example, suggest improvements, etc.
3. If the example code is not in Basic, please include the language used in the subject line, eg 'Doc to Pdf conversion in Java'
4. Questions about how to do things (eg 'How can I send an e-mail from OOo?) should be posted to the Macros & API forum

Russ

Thought I would add....

When copying the code from your browser and pasting it into OOo make sure that there are no added spaces or line breaks, otherwise the code won't work!

Russ,

I think this sticky should be the 1st one in the forum. With a little experimenting I find the sticky position is controlled by the last date a message was post to the thread (editing the original post doesn't seem to work).

So i'm posting to bump it back to the top. Feel free to delete this if you want to bump it back up again in the future. I bumped it before and then deleted the bump message but that, of course, deleted the post date and didn't work.

I agree, and in writing it down I should have bumped it back to the top again! Smile

Is there no way to make this Sticky an Announcement as found in Mozillazine forums. Always on top!

Excellent idea! Why didn't I think of that? Oh well, I've done it now.
