|
|
Hi..
I have a report that is in .SLK file format. When I try to open it in Calc, it opens writer and displays it as a text file.
I'm sure there must be something I'm doing wrong. I use Open then change to file type SLK from Calc, but I can't seem to get it to come into the spreadsheet.
I'm using OpenOffice 2
Thanks!

Well,
not really helpful but, you did it right.
Same happens with .csv files.
But opening a blanc Calc-sheet and then using the Open-button to open
the resisting file normally works. I saw that .slk is a listed file type so it should work.
I'm puzzled.
Will changing the extension to .csv help ?

Hi
Thanks for that tip... makes sense, just changed the extension to CSV and the delimited to Tab and it worked great!
