We are onV2. I'm trying to recreate a macro that a user had in excel to import a file in text,csv format specify the fixed columns and doing a bit of formatting.
I start to record the macro, selecting the file name& type then click on the 'Open' button it asks me 'Do you really want to cancel the recording, Any steps recorded up to this point will be lost'. Any Ideas as to what might be going wrong. |

Hello,
Some actions in Calc are not recordable. You can perform a search on this forum for "file open macro" or see my post below for examples of macros to open a csv (text) file.
