Hi,
this sounds really interesting. Better support for MS Macros
will help to move more people from their MS Office to OO.
Cheers

Will that interfere with OOs multiplatform capability? I thought one reason there was no VBA Wrapper was because OOO has to run on Solaris,Mac,LINUX and Windows where VBA only works on Windows. So would VBA interop interfere with this? _________________ Retake The WEB

Mark,
Look closely at the screenshot in the link. It looks to me like a VBA macro running under OpenOffice.org with GTK-themed buttons on KDE. Also, everything OpenOffice.org does is multiplatform. From all these things, I would say multiplatform is not a problem. |
