How to get the type of a file

Hi

I'm using the API of OOo with java, and I need to get the type (swriter, scalc, ...) of a file and all this characteristic (number of page, author, date of creation, ...)

I try to use TypeDetection but I just get all the type that OOo can read.

help me please
