id like to ask is there a way to make my presntation fast!
it seems that MS powerpoint slide show moves faster than OpenOffice.org Impress.
im now enjoying open office and id like to use more generaly but since impress slide show is slow i still require my pc to have a MS powerpoint installed.
help! |

Hey Bomber,
I presume you're talking about the animations. It is a known problem, Unfortunately because it is a major fix codewise there will probably be no fix to it until the next major release which will be 2.1. The only thing I can say to help is keep animation usage to an absolute minimum.

| We had a really slow presentation when we used very high resolution images. The images were larger than the actual display resolution, so the extra pixels weren't even show and OpenOffice.org had to resize the images dynamically. By importing lower-resolution images, the presentation worked much faster. |
