|
|
Hey everyone, I'm new to OpenOffice and this forum. I have a quick and hopefully easy question. In Excel, if I hit tab it moves over 1 cell in the same row. If I continue to hit tab, it keeps moving over, then when I hit Enter it goes one row down but back to the original column I started in. In Calc, enter only goes down a row. Is there anyway to change this?
Thanks in advance. |

Tools>Options>Calc>Edit (or something alike)
Find option "cell cursor moves to..."
The same kind of option you can find in Excel. |

I do not find any 'options' like this no matter how many of the options i look at.
I do find in tools>customise>keyboard
but do not see any way to get [ENTER] to drop to next row returning to the left where the last row edit started.
what am i missing ..
thanks |

| This is just one of the little differences between the behavior of Excel and Calc. I haven't found an option to change the behavior in either Excel or Calc. |
