|
|
Part way through the installation I get a message which says:
"Error 1395 an error occurred during installation of assembly"
then a lot more text which does not mean anything to me.
I cannot find any mention of this error number anywhere.
When I click the OK button the install rolls back.
(Can I include an image in my post?) |

The error seems to come from the Microsoft Windows Installer, so it's probably not specific to OpenOffice.org. Try searching for the error. Try rebooting and disabling your antivirus. If none of that helps, post your Windows version.
To post an image, host it on a web hosting service such as ImageShack.us and include the link to the image in your message. |

1. disable virus scanner
2. install
3. enable virus scanner again
works!

Sorry, it was Error 1935 not 1395 which caused my problem.
However, turning off the virus scanner was the answer.
OpenOffice installed with no problem.
Many thanks for advice. |
