Changing the default bullet style

I've noticed since upgrading to 2.0.1 that the default bullets (at least under windows) are huge. I prefer smaller bullets and would like to set that as the default. Anyone know how to do that?

As an aside, and yes, I know it's bad form to post two things in one, I've tried to search for this topic in the forum without any success. Has anyone else had a difficult time finding things in here using the Search feature, or is it just me?

It has been reported as an issue and there are workarounds in this thread as well.

In the current version of Writer, this issue has been alleviated. Provided other items precede or follow the current item, the bullet on/off button will apply/remove that list style. Ideally, the user should be able to specify a default list style for these buttons.
