Hi all,
I'm using OpenOffice 2.0.1 and trying to get Base to access my MS-SQL JDBC database.
I have the SQL driver located in c:\tools\Opta.jar (in my classpath) and I specify com.inet.tds.TdsDriver as my JDBC driver. However, it always tells me it is unable to find it. I have the JAR in my classpath but am unable to get Base to find it.
I am a noob at this, so I'm probably missing something obvious. Thanks for any help. |

Did you tell OpenOffice where the jar file is in the Options settings.
Tools>Options Under OpenOffice.org section go to the Java page.
Click the class path button
Select Add Archive
Enter or browse to the jar file for the driver.
I believe you must restart OO.o for this to take.
It should connect now. _________________ Blog - http://baseanswers.spaces.live.com/ |
