I assume that you are trying to paste some cells into an already created table in Writer?
Try selecting the cell that you want to move and then Paste Special > HTML into Writer, Not into a table in Writer. _________________ jrkrideau

There are several ways to paste things into OOo depending on what you want to do.
The ususal way is Edit > Paste. In some cases we do not want to paste that way and there is the option Edit > Paste Special > which gives you a choice of several different ways to paste materials into OOo.
My best guess is that Edit > Paste Special >HTML will give you the results that you want but this is just a guess. Good luck _________________ jrkrideau
