I note the 2.0.2 has a Quattro Pro 6.0 filter. DOes anyone know if anyone is working on a filter for the later versions of Quattro Pro (.qpw)?
If so how can I get in touch with them? _________________ rob |

| I, too, look forward to updated import filters supporting later versions of Quattro Pro. |

The Quattro Pro filters came out too late for me. I ended up opening all of my spreadsheets in Quattro Pro and saving them as Excel sheets, and then ran the OOo document converter on them to change them from Excel to Calc. It took a while, but it got the job done. I did the same thing with my WordPerfect documents (only going to Word rather than Excel), but that was before a WordPerfect filter was added to OOo. _________________ Laugh at life or life will laugh at you. |

| I, too have been converting through Quattro Pro -> Excel approach. But I fear one day I'll no longer have Corel installed and find an old .QPW or .WB3 file I can no longer open. I have it on my "things to do list" to try going through the whole hard disk one day rooting them all out (and converting) but it's a good ways down the list! Also, I find that charts come through the process but they are badly distorted ... requires manual fix-up. I wonder of a planned import filter would improve anything? |
