For some reason the fonts in my software default to one of my other system fonts every time I close the software and start it up again.

I have to go to TOOLS>OPTIONS>VIEW>Unselect "Use system Fonts" everytime.

The issue is a nuisance when tabbing through options or spreadsheet tabs. The text on the tabs is all screwed up. It's defaulting to one of my "artistic" fonts and it's hard to read and way oversized.

How can I make change that font or make the setting permanent?

No idea, right now, but: Which OOo version do you use? Where did you get it from? Which operating system do you use?

With kind regards

Try playing around with the Tools> Options> OOo> Fonts> Apply Replacement table. maybe you can get something to stick there.

The solution seems simple: do NOT opt for "Use system font for User Interface". If you want to use a particular font for the User Interface, go to the fonts section of Tools >Options, select "Apply replacement table", type in Andale Sans UI as the font to be replaced and select a replacement font from the table on the right. Click on the tick emblem.

Well, I don't know what happened but for some reason the changes took...

Usually I have to go through the steps in my first post but now I don't.

Oh well. It's working now.

Thanks anyway.
