|
|
| If you're typing plain text you can click on the "Number on/off" icon in the tool bar and the lines you type will be numbered automatically. The icon disappears when you're in a table. I have a table already created. I want the rows numbered. So I made a column on the far left side and I want the rows numbered from 1 to 50 starting with the first row at the top and going down. I've been doing this manually recently but it's a pain. How do I get the writer to number the rows, using the far left column? Thanks. |

| What version of OOo and what operating system are you using? This works for me using OOo 2.0.3 RC3 on Windows XP SP2. |

Easy in Oo 2.02 on Windows.
- Select the table column
- Format, Bullets and Numbering
- Select numbering style
- Select the position tab and set indents to zero
- Select justified right from the formatting toolbar
