I have not been able to install OOo_2.0.1_MacOSX_install_en-US.dmg.
I get the little OpenOffice.org 2.0 icon but every time I click on it it just flashes and doesn't actually do anything?
Does anybody have any tips/suggestions on why this would be?

| To ask a couple of basic questions. Do you have X11 installed? Have you dragged the open office program to your applications folder after mounting the dmg file? |

indeed it sounds like you do not have x11 installed. it can be found on your panther cd's. x11user.pkg is what you are looking for.
also, i recommend downloading a newer version, 2.0.2 is a full release, and the 2.0.3RC's are nearing completion. |

Great, thanks a lot, that was all it was.
Whatever X11 is, I installed it and OpenOffice works now.
I'm still searching for 2.0.2, however. Do you have a link for that.
