|
|
Hi all,
So I wanted to update my dictionaries and when I attempted to do so, OpenOffice told me there was an update I required before I could proceed.
I downloaded the update, but the download crashed midway.
Now, when I attempt to run "FIle->Wizards->Install New Dictionaries...", all that happens is that a second instance of Writer opens with the words "D:\DicOOo-1.5.5.sxw" on the top line (this is where I had attempted to save the sxw file to).
I've tried deleting that file, re-downloading it, I've gone into "Tools->Options->OpenOffice.Org->Paths" and "Tools->Options->Language Settings->Writing Aids" but can't figure out how to fix this.
Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Then you should have hyperlinks on this page. Choose the interface language you want, it leads to a page where a button is, which you have to click on. _________________ Now on the EN user community forum |

I don't have any hyperlinks, just the plain-text words "D:\DicOOo-1.5.5.sxw" (without the quotation marks, obviously).
Thanks!
