my questions consider a situation with actual opensuse 10.1, that i want to install for a few friends of mine.

the recommended way would be to add an (ftp) path to zmd in order to let find for updates. On the other hand I have a readyToUse prooobox DVD, that installs 2.0.3 of course, but will not enable the detecting of further updates.

That's where i want to go:
- Having installed V2.0.3
- Asserting, that the users will get their updates automatically

Here are my questions:
- Since V2.0.2 could be installed from opensuse 10.1, why there is no update info for V2.0.3?
- How to install oo to assert automated updates in the future?
- which path should be used for zmd update?

thx for spending your time
