Openoffice compile error on LFS system

Hi all,

I am running Linux from scratch 5.0 and I am trying to install openoffice. I have the Sun Java SDK installed v. 1.4.1.

I am having problems compiling openoffice-1.1.0. I have tried a couple of times and I always get the error:

I should also say that i am not compiling with any optimisation i.e. CFLAGS="" etc.
Additionally i have GCJ installed.

well i gotten exact the same problem

i am trying it now

i found out that openoffice won't build with the 2.6.0 kernel loaded.

that's the reason you get the error

I just ran into the same problem. I'm also working on a (B)LFS 5. With Kernel 2.6.0 I ran into the same crash you described, but when I rebooted with a 2.4 kernel which I still had lying around on my harddisk, I passed that spot. (Unfortunately my machine started crawling and froze after a few minutes when I started Eclipse while building OOo in the background. Now I'm stuck with some nasty EFS2 inconsistencies, so it's back to square one :-/
