(on the forums index page)

Erm, download 2.0.0? isn't that a wee bit out of date?

Actually, if you click it you'll get the 2.0.3 OOo. Smile

Actually for the mac you get http://mirrors.isc.org/pub/openoffice/contrib/rc/2.0.0rc3/OOo_2.0.0rc3_051016_MacosxPPC_install.dmg
which is the 3rd release candidate for 2.0.0. The link should take you to http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/ so that the user can choose to get the Intel or PPC versions.

Also the other platforms should use the download bouncer.

Yes, the download section does need updating but that needs admin input. No one has seen anything from him in ages and I've had no response when emailing him...

I'm too old for this sort of thing, and don't have sufficient background in any case, but what needs to happen then is for someone to start a new monitored forum. I used newsgroups for decades, and am here to tell you that the basic design and the number of fine contributors here far outstrip any other such forum I've seen over those years. It needs to be attended to sooner rather than later ...sort of like global warming ...too late is too late. I've said I'll be leaving soon, but that is strictly for personal reasons. This forum rocks.

Be careful about monitoring though. I've seen the worst-case scenario where the monitor thought he was the Wizard of Oz, controlling absolutely everyone on his personal whim. That forum is now closed altogether when no-one contributed but him for the last few months.

David.
