mail merge using different text file from VB

Hi,
I've been trying to mail merge an open office file with another text file generated by VB script. i have defined a datasource in the sxw file using one of my text file.
my intention is to change the name of the text file to merge programmatically with vb script. the problem is , the mail merge only works if i refers to the first text file.
do i always have to use the same name?
can anyone help me? thanks
