Hi all
Time to tweak and polish the toc, and I wouldn't have expected to have this trouble but
I cannot increase the size of contents1. I have it set for 14 pt Ariel bold, and I have Ariel 11 bold.
Contents1 is nicely aligned across the page width. COntents2 was indented a quarter inch and I wanted to have that aligned the same as Contents1, so I gifured I would just take out the indent and set the tab the same as COntents1 in the Styles page. But Oh no siree Bob. I got rid of the left indent, but I have the numbers now a quarter inch in from the right margin and there is NOTHING I have tried will align them with the margin.
Here's what things are set at:
Tab Position Relative box is checked for all levels.
Contents1 Indent 00" Aligned Left Tab 6.50" Right, wiv dots, looks fine, text too small, see above whine.
Contents2 Indent 00" ALigned left (OK) Tab 6.5 Right, with dots, number is about a quarter inch in from right margin and I have updated 12,634 times and it won't MOVE.
I want to reduce the margins of Contents 3 through 6 too, although not to completely left-align them, but I suspect I am going to have the same issues with the right numbering.
Any advice welcome please.

Edit Index, Entries, and uncheck the box that says: "Tab position relative to paragraph style indent." _________________ Fonts * Opera * Oo Tips * FAQ * New Forum

Hi
Did that, but that just dragged in the numbers for every level except Contents1. No numbers are aligned with the right margin now, I got a wiggly line of em depending on how much they are indented from the left I guess.
