Hi Folks! My current problem with OO is that I usually have to serve some writs to the courts with tables that I USED to work with Excel. For some months now, that has been replaced by Calc. However, the size of the tables (written in landscape format in Calc) is usually the whole A4 page I use for my writs. Thus, I decided to take the tables from calc and insert them in Writer but I could not rotate them then.
So far the only solution is a very complicated Calc>Writer(insertOLE object GDI graphic) process in order to obtain a more or less accurate table. This solution has not been satisfactory because the resulting GDI graphic always gets messed up and the cells and their content goes out of the cell boundaries.

Is there any easy way to simplify this operation without resorting to 7 or 10 steps?

Thanks.... Confused

You can put landscape pages into portrait documents in Writer, so you could put the big Calc tables on the landscape pages. Would that work for you? If so, you need to create a page style for the landscape pages and insert a manual page break before and after the landscape page. See Chapter 4, "Formatting Pages" in the Writer Guide for more info, especially the section on "Changing page orientation within a document".
