 Posted: Sat Nov 25, 2006 12:04 pm    Post subject: How can i make this? Hej. I am making math, and I was wondering how I can make this: m=y2-y1/x2-x1 I need to have a fraction line instead of the /. Btw I know the 2 and 1's need to be lowercase, but I dont know how to do that in a browser.

[You should have brackets around the pairs if this is for the slope of a line.] For that, you could use the math editor also available from the word processor, not the spreadsheet. There is a math editor forum you might try. I use MathType, since I find it easier and useful for simpler relations, but have heavy duty math programs for other things. The math editor will do what you want here, though you might not find it easy to find information on how to use it effectively. In the math editor, you'd type this: m={y sub{2} - y sub{1}} over {x sub{2} - x sub{1}} David.
