|

We (my gf and me) downloaded OpenOffice for the purpose of doing medical transcription. Prior to this we were using Word 2000. In Word you can make brackets by pressing Ctrl-F9 to identify a location in a document and then press F11 to navigate to each location.
Is there such an option in OpenOffice Writer? I am not too familiar with macros and whatnot, but I need to know if something like this is possible because speed is very important when doing this kind of work. Using the mouse to navigate from place to place is going slow things down too much.
Thanks in advance for any help you all can offer. |

You could insert notes (just A, B, C, etc.) at the points you want and then use the Navigator to get to any of them. Look up Navigator and Notes in Help.
