Where can I find / How do I install ODBC drivers to allow my MS-Word Mail Merge (for example) to run off my BASE Customer database?
If there is documentation on this, just point me to it.
Thanks |

From the not particularly clear links attached, would it be correct to deduce the OOB cannot be used as a data source via ODBC? It seems OOB can happily use ODBC to get data from other sources, but is not able to make it available via the same mechanism? Is that really true? Seems hard to believe, i thought the O in ODBC had the same meaning as the O in OOB.
If I have to store my data in MYSQL to get it via ODBC, the point of OOB is lost on me. |

I would say so, too.

No one ever posted here another solution.

At least you can use OOo Base to design your tables and forms.
