Good day to all,
I've a small workgroup which has open office 2.1 installed to 2 p.c and 1 unit of p.c is windows office 2002 application,and i encoutered problem of excel file -installed to open office p.c appication is able to print,and p.c which installed to office 2002 application is not able to print,pls adv.....is it due to compataible problem of excel and calc,or if there's any features of securith need to enable it.Pls adv.....Yours promt reply is much appreciated. |

I'm not sure, but perhaps it is to do with the different way Excel/Calc handle print areas.
Can you do a print preview in Excel? If this looks OK, it is probably your printer driver setup rather than the spreadsheet. |

As Warrick said Calc can not always use the print instructions that exist in an XL file. If a MS file is opened with Calc it is sometimes necessary to clear out the XL instructions and enter print range instructions for Calc.
Under Format> Print Ranges> delete any instructions found and set them up again. This needs to be done for each sheet in the Calc workbook.
How it works going from Calc to MS is beyond me. GL _________________ One of these days I'm gonna stop procrastinating. |
