I am using visual basic 6 and I have been able to create a new starcalc sheet , add data, format, and use formulas.
My new req. is to be able to allow the user to press a button or radio button on the newly created sheet to recalc a value (revenue). I am very new to star office and im a little confused on the syntax to use in some cases (Uno service,java..)
Question: Is it possible to create a button or radio button on the newly created sheet dynamically and also have an event trigger to recalculate a field?
- I have the code to open starcalc, add data, format etc.
- I need a way (macro?) to allow the user once the file is generated to click a button Let's say move value 1,1 to 5,6 (overwrite). Can this be done?
I have spent several days researching this and tried to use the dialog and even recorded a macro with an open sheet to see the code with no luck.
By the way, this document is created in another application so I do not have a template already out there, it is generated on the fly (spreadsheet pulling data from ext. db) using a vb dll called from the external app.
Any help would be appreciated.
