Hi,
I want to distribute OpenOffice together with an software application, but I dont want the user to confuse with the setup. Is there a way, to install OpenOffice automated, for example call: "ooo_setup.exe /auto" ?
Thanks!

You want to install several 100 MB of OOo without informing the user?

Perhaps a Responsefile Installation can do the trick: http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/816-7523?q=staroffice

Extract the setup files, as described at http://OpenOfficeTechnology.com/node/26. You should then be able to do a "setup /qn". If that doesn't work, try "msiexec /qn /i <nameofmsi>.msi"

There's more here:

http://www.appdeploy.com/packages/detail.asp?id=497

(You don't need wpkg. Otherwise, the instructions are the same.)
