|
|
Greetings community & sorry for a dumb question but I failed to find an answer so far...
Using OOo 2.0 in XP-SP2 how can I get OOoDraw documents to open normally without the Page Panel deployed?
I know I can close it each time, but I would prefer to set it to default closed.
Thanks for all suggestions & sorry again if it should have been obvious! |

Oh - too bad!
Count this as one small vote against that 'feature' then!
Seems strange when so many things can be finely tuned to personal preferences...
Thanks for the reply anyway - and for the useful links in your signature. |

The status is not crystal clear to me, as there have been some actual bugs with closing the page pane which have been fixed recently, but it appears that the page pane view setting (on/off) will be made "sticky" at some point in the near future: see Issue 68126 and Issue 58700.
In the meantime, you can shrink the page pane by dragging the vertical divider. That setting IS sticky, and you can shrink the pane down to nothing if you like. |

I won't hold my breath for the 'near future' fix, but I can live with shrinking the panel, thanks;
