Msoft has announced that all PC's designed to run windows must now be fitted with at least
two hard drives.
The first, which may be only 20 gigabytes, will house the OS and data.
The second, which should be a recommended minimum capacity of 60 gigs, will be used to provide enough free space for patches and updates.

Maxtor - is said to be 'delighted' by the news. |

20 GB... that equals the memory load of OpenOffice!
The 60GB will be used by the swap file when users open a document with many many large pictures...

Latest news:
Upon requests by Anti Virus software companies, M$ now requires a 3rd harddrive for installation of anti virus programmes, a large enough quarantine space fof infected emails through the use of *UTL**K and the endless updates from the anti virus software companies. |
