I'm trying to alert all users to problems within a particular spreadsheet by having a formula activate some form of popup messagebox as the alternative to the " IF " function.
Is this possible with OOo2.1

Does Data >Validity do what you want? Or Format >Conditional Formatting?

I'll go try them and get back to you. Basically, if an event occurs outside the parameters of a specific formula, then I need to alert someone. So far, just a quick read, the Help file is suggesting Data/Validity is possible ~ I'll go see. Thanks
