Hello,
I'm using OOo 2.1 on a Linux box with cups as printing system. I've configured a cups printer in the cups frontend with the location and info fields. The printers conf:

Info Flur
Location Hier
...
</Printer>

If I print a document and the printing dialog from OOo pops up, the fields Location and Comment are empty. Is that a bug or could I configure this?

First, try OpenOffice.org's spadmin. If that does not work, I suggest filing a bug report in the Issue Tracker.
On my Linux system, it's just like yours. I searched the Issue Tracker, but I didn't notice anything related. I use the official OpenOffice.org, but I know some modified versions (e.g. Fedora 6) ship with a different (and nicer) print dialog. I don't remember, but maybe that dialog shows the information you want.
