|
|
I encountered a problem in Writer: I have a Table of two rows.
In the first row the text is written in normal way and has only one column.
The second row was split into 8 small cells (8 columns).
In the 8 cells I want to write text running vertically.
I choose character - rotate by 90 degrees. It works fine.
However, when I save the document and next time I open it the characters are just scrambled horizontally in the narrow cells instead of running vertically as I set it before.

You're right I'm saving it in Microsoft Word format.
Saving in OpenDocument format solves the problem, indeed. |

For information, a nice workaround has just been found on the French forum : you simply have to use a character style. Create one with the rotation setting in the Position tab of the character style, apply it to the text to be rotated. Even after saving in .doc format, the setting remains.
You can retag this thread with [Workaround] or [Solved], up to you. _________________ Now on the EN user community forum |
