currently the page is displayed on the left side of the monitor. I would like to have it displayed in the center. Any info would be helpful.

This is too advanced for OOo Rolling Eyes

Search the forum for answers and workarounds, perhaps the above links is all you need.

This is one of the most requested fixes: see Issue 1761. 100 votes and counting.

It is also one of the (if not the most) FAQs around here. Yet it is not in the OOo FAQs (at least that I could find in >10 minutes of poking around). Does anyone have a good place we can send folks when this question comes up again next week? Wink

Here's another thread: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=35480 that gives some workarounds, if you can wade through all the frustration.

EDIT: s/next week/later today/

Now 123 ...

Sorry that this may not appear important to some people but it is the one thing that is keeping me with Word.

Have you tried any of the workarounds?

Would you care to elaborate on where the workarounds are not sufficient?

I'm not suggesting this isn't important--you're the only one who can decide that. I'm only trying to understand how to better assist people who need this feature. If the "workaround" doesn't work, then I won't recommend it.

This has actually been fixed, at least for the most common situations. The fix is scheduled to be part of OOo 2.3 which should be released in September.

For the record, feature 1761 was added in OOo 2.3.0 (Sept 2007)
