Hello,
I'm new at OOoForum.org, I have been facing a problem of not being able to remove hyperlinks on Internet addresses which will automatically turn in hyperlinks. I couldn't find any option to remove it.
Overall, I think OOo is excellent, just this one I think is lacking. I'm using OOo 2.0, by the way, and have yet to try the latest version. |

Tools -> autocorrect -> options tab: unselect "recognize url".
In order to correct already inserted text, select it -> right click -> hyperlink tab |

Another way to deal with urls in the text is to select the text, right click and then choose 'Default formatting'. This turns the url into plain text.

Hi, don't forget to search the forum (see top of page) before posting, you may not be the first one to experience a problem. In this case, the hyperlinks formatting has been discussed several times already.
