Problem remembering Image postions in xls file?

Hi-

I seem to have stumbled across a problem with inserting images into a file. I inserted a number of images into cells, next to each other- they are set to be locked to the cell dimensions and location but when I save the file in the XLS format (I have to share the file with Microsoft Office users) and then load it again, the images are slightly "shifted" out of place- the further away they are from X:Y 0:0 of the file, the more they are shifted to the left.

I am using 1.1.0 of OpenOffice, german version but I doubt that has much to do with the problem. Could it be because I save it as an XLS file? I mean- the warning that some formatting infos might be lost by doing so must be there for a reason... is there a way to make sure they stay in place?
