missing dll file please help

hi during instal on my laptop it said there was missing files in the zip.. i tried searching the net for a replacment dll file and couldn't find one.. there may be more than one missing dll file so i'll post i get the msising ones put in..

anyways.. the error i got at moment in instal is that icudt22l.dll is missing from the files.. i searched that pc and a couple others at my house non unfortunetly have this dll file on them that i could copy.. anyone got a copy of the file? is so please let meknow.. or just email me the dll to grimlock16@hotmail.com please if it is more than 2mb do not mail it.. hotmail doesn't really like more than 2mb files.. or if you can provide an url to this file please post.. thank you kindly..

the only program i really want to instal is excel and word.. i could settle for just excel though..

thanks for the file.. i'll download it now.. since my laptop doesn't have a cdrom or any easy way to transer large files i'll have to use xlink and just transfer it via parallel cable.. no biggie.. thanks for the file.. i'll post again if it says there is another missing file that i can't find..

i tried to reunzip the file for the instal files andi think i found the problem with missing files 2 of the files couldn't be extracted do to crc errors or something in the zip file..

the files were:
f_0259
f0_026

i'll look at that link you posted earilier and see if either are there..

nope neither are there.. i wish this zip was an exe probly less of a hassle that way but as long as i get those files maybe this won't give me those instal missing dll files.. or post all 3 of the files i don't know.. please help me out though..

atttempting to redownload zip file.. maybe it was just a bad download.. i'll find out soon though.. well in about an hour and half.. that is ... slow downlaod .. lol

A lot of dlls are missing because files are getting corrupted along the way.
Here's the output from my 2nd unzip attempt.

! C:\Documents and Settings\...\Desktop\OOo_1.1.0_Win32Intel_install.zip: CRC failed in OOo_1.1.0_Win32Intel_install\f0_058. The file is corrupt

I am about to give up on this myself. I have attempted to download the zip (english winxp) atleast 10+ times, each time getting a corrupted zip file. Any ideas?

It's strange (I've heard quite a few people report this same problem recently) particularly considering we're not talking about a new release or anthing.

Most people have found that downloading again has done the trick for them but obviously not for you Sad

I can only suggest

checking your DLs with the md5sum.exe before extracting:

Downloading in "chunks":
http://www.oooforum.org/downloads.php
or getting a CD from a distributor like us (see my signature) or another from this page:
http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdrom/#cdrom
