Here's one way to do it:
- Format, Page, Landscape
- Type the Question and select it
- Format, Character, Position 90°
- Line-break, (Shift Enter)
- Type the Answer and select it
- Format, Character, Position 270°
To start a new column of questions and answers to the left (below) of the first one, start a new paragraph.
You will probably find it easiest to work inside a table, with one question and one answer in each Table cell. _________________ Fonts * Opera * Oo Tips * FAQ * New Forum

It's also fairly easy to insert rotated text as a graphic item (use the "T" tool on the drawing toolbar).
• Position and Size > Rotation = 180° (i.e.upside down)
• Anchor As > Character (adjust the alignment using Alt+Up/Down)
• Text > Fit width to text = YES
PS: A frame would be a better method, but for some strange reason, there is no option for 180° text, only 0, 90 & 270, as Bhikkhu Pesala's method deals with.
PPS: You can register and vote for Issue 29150. |

With a table, you can set the Table Properties for a row to "Left to Right Vertical" then set the Character Format to Position 270° — I think this is the easiest method. Questions in one row, answers in the next. Use Table Cell Alignment instead of paragraph justification to centre the text horizontally. _________________ Fonts * Opera * Oo Tips * FAQ * New Forum

If you only need a small amount of text, just try the following:
- Insert a drawing object on your document. A rectangle is OK.
- Double click on it to add text.
- Pick the right bottom corner of the rectangle and drag it until it became the top left corner.
- Say: I can't believe nor understand it! and then smile... |

Is this part of the test?
You might also consider using the spreadsheet, properly layed out for your purpose. If you enter text into a cell, you can orient it to any angle [e.g. 180 degrees] using Format Cells/Alignmet/Text orientation.
