|
|
Hi,
I'm working on a documentation for a video game and am making use of many 'trade' terms which will require a glossary of terms at the end of the document. I was hoping that there was some form of Glossary system built-in to OpenOffice but am having trouble finding it.
Additionally, I had hoped it would be possible to use automatic cross-referencing so that any reference to these terms would be automatically linked to the relevent glossary entry. However I'm beginning to think this is not possible.
Could anyone point me in the right direction on these issues? If they are not addressed in the current build of OpenOffice then I'll have to wait patiently for the feature or get my hands messy with a database.
Thanks in advance,

Try hyperlink, found under Format-hyperlink. Sorry that I have no time to read the help file and find out how to use it. I use it before but forgotten. It is not too difficult.
Good day. |

Read the abbreviation index for info on glossary creation.

It's automatically done once the index entry is created. But if you meant hyperlinked then I think it can't be done as you can't reference an index entry using hyperlinks. _________________ An OOo mascot designer |
