No, currently it is not possible. Search on the forum, this issue was previously discussed.

Please vote: http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1598. With close to 100 votes, it's gotta get some attention soon Wink

thanks

On the Standard Toolbar Click the Page Preview icon
There is an icon with 2 page preview click on it.
Or another icon with 4 pages, click on the drop down arrow and you have the option
of telling how many pages you need to view.

Sincerely,

I think many of us are aware of both options just presented . . . What we're after is an "editable" two page view ('Page Preview' does not allow editing; New Window does not provide for synchronised scrolling). Check out the 'issue' link above.

Ahh, I did not read the word "Editable". Until it is implemented the only option as already mentioned is to click on the page you want to edit, then New Window, then click on the second page. Then Switch Windows. A pain.

I will go vote to the indicated link to make sure it gets implemented in the future.

Cheers!

This post is a bit old, so this reply is "for the record' (such as people searching the archives). Feature 1598 is implemented and ready for testing.
