Begin BBCode Ordered List at other than 1

You are unlikely to achieve any interest here, since no one present has any power to change anything, but your suggestion could be of use in relation to a proposal for a better user support site. Would you please explain, beginning at the beginning, what you are talking about.

I can't think of any more information to give you. I'm not making any suggestions, just hoping someone knows BBCode well enough to say if it's possible.

I just want to know how to post an ordered list that begins with "2", or any digit other than "1" (and any letter other than "a"), which is all I have so far achieved. I tried

I only use the first "List" button and hardly ever. I'd be interested in the answer. You may find it through the posts and links in Sticky: About BBCode which you can turn on in your Profile. I have this link (not the one I thought I had). I'm fairly certain there is a website devoted to this very subject - it may be mentioned on that thread.

P.S. Found another, probably more to the point, amongst several hundred I removed from my browser.
