Someone please help!?!
I am helping my Mother-In-Law with wedding invites for her daughter. I have just discovered that the envelopes are too wide to feed into the printer top-first. I need to change the settings so that the envelopes will fit into the printer sideways.
Changing the page orientation only makes it so the address would not be properly oriented on the envelope.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for any help!

You could try setting up an envelope template. Open new Writer doc and do Insert > Envelope, work through the dialog tabs and then click Insert.
Hints:
On the Printer tab “Print from top” means your printer prints on the same side of the paper that is facing you when inserted in the printer.
On the same tab you may find that the direction of the flap is wrong on the icons, at least for loading them the way you want.
Printing to plain paper while getting the setting correct saves envelopes.
Once you hit the Insert button you can delete the blank page.
Doing Insert > Envelope again allows you to edit your existing setting. It does not insert another.
Once you have things printing in approximately the correct areas you can fine tune by manually moving the two frames
Good luck. Some folks can't get envelopes to print correctly. |
