]Hi
Please forgive me asking a question which is probably elementary.
I have been calculating retail and trade prices for an idea I have. Each column has a formula with the VAT factor in the 7th column. Column 8 contains what I would envisage the retail price to be and Column 9 contains what I would like the trade price to be.
How do I cut and paste the figures in column 8 to a seperate column or indeed to a seperate spread sheet. At present when I try to do that all I can copy is a column of zeros.
Advice would be most appreciated.
Regards

When you want to copy a column that contains formula, the formulas will adapt to the new location of the cells (unless you have used the symbol $ in cell references that means absolute reference).

If you just want to copy the results from formulas, then you have to use the "Paste Special" menu option, and make sure that all but "Paste All" and "Formulas" are checked.
