Since 1.x version I try write in WRITE Program with right to left direction, but it's not possible. I try install 2.x in hebrew version and the problem is the same.
What's wrong?
I use Mandriva 2007.1, with KDE and my language is Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR).
Thanks. |

Have you tried in Tools>Options>Language settings>Language to check the option Enabled for complex text layout (CTL) at bottom ? You will see 2 buttons on the toolbar afterwards. I'm not used to this, you can also try to search the forum, many users use this feature.
Thanks to add '[Solved]' in your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed. _________________ Now on the EN user community forum |

Yes, I really make Enable for complex Layout and choice the language Hebrew. The two icons appears on screen.
If I try use (R2L) order, the text is located in right corner of screen, but the order of characters are ever L2R orientation, except to simbols (.,;: etc.), that stay in right-to-left orientation. |

Hmm, same for me. But I've found this thread that could help : Problem Typing Hebrew (solved). You can search for other threads about that, There are some with the keywords "right left ctl" (don't forget to check the option Search for all terms).
Good luck. _________________ Now on the EN user community forum |
