i have a row with date formatted like dd/mm/yyyy, i would like to use the datapilot to draw some data but how can i sum up the total for each month for the entire row? any dieas?

Please check the post below . . . with emphasis on using grouping data. That is, after you have created your DataPilot,
Outline - Group
1. Select ANY date cell . . . press F12 ( OR from the Menu: Data -> Outline -> Group... )
2. In the Group By section . . . click Intervals, and, Months
3. Press OK
