Im looking to understand graph's in calc. But they always mess up for me. I hope someone can help me.
I tried following this tutorial
http://www.tutorialsforopenoffice.org/tutorial/Charting_Data.html
Its basically so easy with just a few clicks, but it just doesnt work. I did up to Step 15, but the graph did not show a line. Can someone point the mistake? |

Your chart seems to have no data? What kind of data are contained in the source range? Post a few lines of example data.
What type of chart do you try to create? Line, x/y scatter, bars, ... |

| The data range in the screen shot below step 3 shows $Sheet1.$A$1, which is one single cell on the wrong sheet (step 1 suggested sheet2). Include the entire range of data, including the headers "X" and "Sine(X)", so the data range is $Sheet2.$A$1:$B$92. |

Hm i didnt do that, but when i select both columns, and create the diagram, it automatically sais "$Tabelle2.$A$1:$B$92"
I didnt care about it because the Tutorial didnt give a hint. But it seems correct, since my data is in "tabelle2".
Hm i did the tutorial again and again, but its just wrong. Perhaps it should be taken of the front pages. |
