The setup program requests for a newer version of the windows installer file. When attempting to update it, the message pop-up says that the service already exists and aborts the installation....
Appreciate any tips.. |

Search the forum for "all terms": installer version already exists
I have never had any problem installing on Windows Me, and don't know what causes the problem for some. A search may yield some clues which help. |

If you haven't already, try restarting Windows before upgrading the Windows Installer.
